		<description><![CDATA[I mostly agree. It is indeed mainly for hobbyist, and as such, it has a great discovery tool and a very engaged and enthusiastic audience.

As far as numbers go, it is hardly to even get a return on investment if you develop only for OUYA, but again, that is from a company point of view and not a hobbyist.

Most of the times, if you make a title for OUYA there is nothing preventing you to publish it on the Play Store as well, where it is less exposed but to a much larger audience.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I think the failure of what the OUYA initially planned to be has been beneficial and made for a more interesting space in many ways. If it had taken off as expected, I can imagine the known players and F2P timesinks dominating the landscape in much the same as they do on mobile. As the system has ended up as much more of a hobbyist device, smaller titles from lesser-known developers have been getting a lot more prominence there. 

I definitely count myself among the crowd lucky enough to reap the benefits of that, and I&#039;m grateful for the opportunity it&#039;s afforded me. The relatively small platform and engaged user base has allowed me to grow as a developer in ways that other platforms just can&#039;t provide anymore. Keep your release on Android (or even PC) these days and there&#039;s a decent chance it&#039;ll sink like a stone without a lot of luck or a contact or two. Few developers come out the gate fully formed and firing on all cylinders, and I think it&#039;s great to have another space where these people can grow.
